Well here we are again. The preparation is much different this time. That doesn't stop the damage that is going to happen. This time the local governments and the Feds are working more closely together. That is how more lives are saved in my opinion. Only God knows what is about to happen. I put my trust in him. We are expected to get hit hard. I spent the afternoon in preparation. Filling sand bags, buying food, charging batteries, etc. The front edge of the storm haas started to roll in. The wind is kicking up. In the past we have weathered many a storm but I don't have a good feeling about this storm. We were told today we might be without electricty for as much as a month. I certainly hope not. I will have to ration my supplies accordingly. We should get around 15 inches of rain and winds over 75 mph steady with gust of ???. Toronados dropping out of the clouds at random is very common. This should be interesting to say the least. I am so ready to move out of Louisiana !!! I have prayed for months that God would open that door so We can leave. But we still remain in place. I will try to get out before, during and hopefully afterwards. God willing...
