Fire, the inner fire, is the most potent of all force, for it overcometh all things and penetrates

L.A. Water Main Breaks | |||||||||
|
Today, The L.A. Dept. of Water & Power asked JPL's assistance in ascertaining the cause of so many water main breaks in the last several weeks. They
are now considering what I suggested a while back -- that tectonic activity may be responsible.

Over the weekend, I attended socials of a particular gay men's organization based in L.A. During a great Saturday night dinner of tri-tip and grilled
veggies, the conversation ranged from politics to TV to Trek to earthquakes. Upon my revealing myself as an earthsensitive, one of the guys asked if I got the
sensing in my chest. I said yes and, at the Sunday afternoon gathering, asked him how he knew. He replied: "That's where I get mine too, right in
the center of my chest." I've known this guy nearly two decades (from rodeo) and never knew this about him. We're both the same sign, and live
in the same local municipality.
I mention this only because Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon both saw my own center-chest. Not immediately seeing any quake postings to attribute to this. The moderate I predicted for L.A. by today happened yesterday as a 2.7, but maybe there's more to come.

EQ....please consider the possibility that the center chest symptoms may very well be Mexico. I feel it may be.

Ah, normally I do include Mexico but this occasion forgot to consider. Thanks for reminding me, Rimi.

Aside from some bronchial issues and some minor money worries, I'm feelin nuthin. Best I've felt in weeks. Maybe my San Fran weekend did some
additional good.
AFTERNOON EDIT As usual, spoke too soon. Intense emotion, mostly unresolved anger -- the kind of stuff one sees a shrink about. Still, pretty intense and wonder what's up. Mexico maybe.

Not Mexico, but CA's Inland Empire. This quake caused such an emotional fore-sense in me that I cursed out an employee of one of our in-house vendors over
an innocent joke. I had to apologize to him, his staff, his supervisor and a co-worker of mine who witnessed the episode. I am realizing how anger signifies
a quake "under my feet."

First the Sleepies, then the Euphoria, all in one afternoon. Given the speed, probably by tonight or tomorrow, a light one locally maybe. Let's see --
fight/flight = Mexico/Baja/S. America; extreme anger = underfoot (L.A./San Diego/Inland Empire); extreme fatigue = Indonesia/Sumatra. Now I gotta learn what
my Sleepies mean.
AFTERNOON EDIT Meanwhile, need to do serious work on myself when it comes to the anger issue. What I did yesterday at work was potentially destructive; there may be repercussions from it still. Anger management is called for whenever I get that particular sensory.

The Fatigue is back, with some depression indicators. Southwest Pacific again, Indonesia and/or its neighbors.
Update: Depression gone, but Fatigue given way to Sleepies. Either local, Indo, or both by the morning.

Yep -- I was right! A couple of Indos, a couple of Samoans, all around 6.0 and within the last few hours of this post.
AFTERNOON EDIT Now feeling the Sleepies again, real deep. Can't tell where this quake is, though. All I know is that I wanna go home and curl up.

The Anger. The Despair. Feeling rejected at every turn -- if I just disappear, would anyone notice, or care? I'll stretch my window from SoCal down to
Baja, if not by the morning then by Monday. Meantime, guess I'll cry myself to sleep.

Ah, but there's more. The Anger again this afternoon -- I've been really hostile to a few people and had to calm myself down. I'm surprised I
predicted Baja (and that it was right) given this same sensory a few days ago, as that area is normally Fight/Flight. The Anger seems to indicate a quake
"underfoot," meaning one of our local SoCal counties. Maybe I should expand it to Baja. Anyway, I'll say a small-to-moderate by Tuesday at the
earliest -- bur local, or Baja?

So much for my prediction for yesterday. It's Wednesday morning and The Anger is back again in full force. It'll require a great deal of self-control not to snap at anyone as I did last week (it almost happened again this morning on the shuttle bus). Maybe I was heralding the high winds that hit our area resulting from the large weather front passing east of us. But let's see what happens in SoCal by Friday.

Today, prolonged mild Fatigue. Tonight, increased Fatigue almost leading to Sleepies -- then later a loud, deafening left-ear tone. Either Indonesia
aftershocks, or that small-to-moderate SoCal that I predicted last week.

I haven't mentioned this, but I've been watching my blood pressure slowly going up and up each day for over a week now. My BP has associated with magma activity and so, I would say we are slowly building back up for a magma/volcanic event. This could be an answer to your feelings of anger as well. |

Could be, but today I'm having extreme Euphoria! So high and
energetic I have to mellow myself out. Whatever it is, if it's local, it happens tomorrow (Saturday). Or it could be today's 4-pointers in both Chile
and Indonesia that I predicted earlier this week.
AFTERNOON EDIT We had our Halloween costume contest at the office during our monthly staff lunch. One of the contestants, dressed as Edgar Allan Poe, opened the contest with a reading of "The Tell-Tale Heart." Damned if I didn't notice my own rapid pulse during the second half of the story! After lunch came the Sleepies, which could very well have been because of the meal. The Euphoria has worn off to be replaced by a slight dampening of spirits but nothing dramatic; I still have lingering energy. So, when and where?

Various sensories Friday afternoon into evening. During after-work errands, severe rapid pulse that was alarming at times. After getting home my pulse
calmed, but then came a right ear tone, a left ear tone, another right ear tone, with some Sleepies and some low energy. Unable to pinpoint where; feels like
signals coming from all over.
