We start with AU. look for a 3.2 ish E. side shortly. We go to NZ. look for upped activity N. island should go 4.8 ish but expect larger as volcanic activity increases for N. island especially offshore to the N. 5.8 ish. Eruption level will be lower moderate. Tonga Fiji areas to 5.6 ish. Guam area to 5. NG to see six ish a few days. Timor sea to 5.2 shortly, Indonesia to see a 5.8, Burma is something not clear though maybe 4.6 ish, Taiwan goes 4.2 ish, Japan does 5.6 multiples as usual. Moving across the pond to the E. first we stop in Hawaii this goes to 3.4 as precursors to larger events both sides of pacific. Then we get to the Pacific coast areas. Lets try Alaska I don't usually do AK but I feel something 6 ish may be coming. Oregon Washington look for something 3 .6 N. Washington Canadian border areas. Oregon should remain calm for now but something 4 ish builds for offshore. N. Calif Bay area looks for a 3.2 shortly. LA area goes to 3.2, lets look for a slight uptick in Salton sea inland empire areas to 4 ish nothing major. Mexico baja area to 4.5, Mexico on land goes 5, Central America El Salvador area to 5.2 ish Costa Rica areas to go 4.9, South America Costa rica should see something 4 ish, Ecuador is something not clear though, Norther Chile border area to go 5.6 maybe higher, Southern Chile offshore to 4.2 ish, Still waiting in Southern ocean action to 4.6 ish and Antarctica should be something to 5.6 ish.... The August 30, 2013 M 7.0 earthquake southeast of Adak, Alaska, occurred as the result of thrust faulting on or near the subduction zone interface between the Pacific and North America plates. At the location of this event, the Pacific plate moves towards the northwest with respect to North America at a rate of approximately 73 mm/yr, beginning its descent into the mantle at the Aleutian trench approximately 130 km south of the August 30 earthquake. The depth and mechanism of this earthquake are consistent with it occurring along the megathrust interface between these two plates.
