Please take what I post here with a block of salt, as the information provided here may be inaccurate and thus no panic is intended. I'm posting this on both Pam's and Diane's boards. Late Saturday evening/early Sunday morning, I had a conversation with a guy I'd "seen on the scene" (my social scene) for several years. He overheard me admiring someone's Science of Mind tattoo on their shoulder, and asked me about the religion. I explained that, in a nutshell, it's a spiritual view of karma. The man was glad I believed in karma and began to tell me a little about his life recently. He related how years ago, he used to be a bouncer at a bar and was attacked by a patron who knocked him unconscious. For a year afterward, he had several grand seizures. Toward the end of that period, he suffered a seizure that resulted in his having an out-of-body experience. Since that experience, he realized he could read people's histories and even see their futures. I mention all this so as to give insight into the man's credibility, which I cannot vouch for.I explained how his experience was common among psychics, and related how I was an earthsensitive, explaining what that was. I mentioned the group of earthsensitives I blog with, and how we've been keeping an eye on the Jacinto and Andreas faults. Without pausing or blinking, he quickly said: "November 3rd." Of this very year.He went on to predict how the quake would be a double-wallop. The first quake would be bad enough, and we'd be lulled into a false sense of security that the worst was over. But 4 days later, he predicted, there'll be a second quake, much worse than the first, so big that its energy could not be contained in the fault on which it occurs (he mentioned there'd be some kind of ground upheaval). In fact, the energy would spread throughout other faults in the L.A. region, like a charge going through power lines. Now, the reason this has given me the Sentry feeling all night is that another fellow I know mentioned to me a while back how he'd been reading the predictions of other EQsens. They all seemed to feel that October-November would be the time.Another reason I'm feelin kinda creepy is that, shortly before my conversation with the psychic gentleman, I'd been in another conversation when suddenly something happened to me that hasn't happened since I was 16: My nose bled.Pam, I'll share with you via email the gentleman's prediction for me in the midst of the quake activity. I'll be speaking with this gentleman again later this morning, so if there's anything additional I'll post it. Everyone, please share your thoughts if any. Remember, we are here to try and save lives, not cause panic. I will delete this entry in the next two days. If I fail to do so in that time, the board moderators should feel free to do so. Thanks, everyone.

(Best Syndication News) - Researchers from UC Irvine and Arizona State University think that the activity of the San Andreas Fault is very likely to have a major earthquake soon for the Southern California area. The study will be published in the Sept. 1, issue of the journal Geology.
The last big earthquake the researchers say was in 1857, which is over 150 years ago. The trend for the Carrizo Plain portion of the San Andreas fault would have large ruptures occuring around every 45 to 144 years. The Carrizo Plain is located around 100 miles northwest of Los Angeles. Previous studies of the San Andreas fault estimated large earthquakes every 250 to 400 years, which the researchers say is not correct. The major earthquakes on the San Andreas Fault Line have produced 6.5 and 7.9 magnitude tremors.
