RUT-ROH Scooby! There is trouble brewing in the dark....
A) Today Portland was hit by a SURPRISE! Snow storm, that nearly instantly
paralyzed the city traffic, bus system, etc. BOOM 3 inches plus of icy snow plopped on
the streets within a few hours this afternoon. My friend working at OSHU
couldn't get off "pill hill" and booked a hotel nearby, sans toothbrush. (lol)
B) I was also hit by an ear splitting left ear tone, (for me that's NW) and i don't want
to peg it on distance this time. I'm thinking land, not sea as it was crystal clear, not a filtered
wavy sound. I'm guessing 5.5 to 6.2.
C) Yeah its the dark depths of winter, shortest days of the year, but i CANT wake
up! I have been sleeping 10-12 hours a day. And Eating like a bear, and not leaving my cave for days.
Dunno if its the weather, or whether I am suffering a strange form of Seismic flu.
D) funny, i caught the weather man stating, whoa we where ALL caught off guard on
this one. (and he said we are expecting some unusually high tides at new years)
Seriously, they were predicting SOME snow in the Columbia river Gorge.
NOT wham bam the city is slammed....under snow after lunch hour and before you
go home............WEIRD city for sure. AND AND AND as i understand it strange
weather like this hits before an earthquake . THOUGHTS OUT THERE ON THIS?
