Rubies, sapphires and opals -- those are the "juicy jewels" I couldn't recall earlier today.  But then I couldn't recall a number of things earlier today.  It was as if my brain frequency was being jammed -- took an extra effort just to think of even the simplest words.

Most of the earlier sensories have subsided tonight so I'm feeling better for the most part.  And I'm glad everyone's enjoying the "juicy jewels" phrase!  smiley: ... Shift+R improves the quality of this image. CTRL+F5 reloads the whole page.

EARLY SUNDAY MORNING EDIT

On "Symptoms," Mary wrote of butterflies and chills.  My sensories have been worse than that, nearly all the damn day on Saturday.  In the afternoon, I spoke to a couple of friends of mine who are sensitives in various ways.  The friend in the Bay Area felt like Coalinga was about to pop; the friend in the SoCal Inland Empire felt it might be a world event along economic lines.  (Me, I just wondered if it was close by.)  In the evening, after abating in the afternoon, the sensories returned just as intense.  At one point I yelled out:  "Let go, let God ... whatever's got its hold on me, GO AWAY!"  Now, when that happens -- when I resort to prayer or anything resembling it -- the event is usually significant in some way.

Checking the SoCal map on USGS, it's as if the entire Easter 2010 aftershock zone has shifted northward along the Andreas, as the Salton Sea is now really cooking.  Also, there was a 3.3 northeast of Bakersfield today (in addition to a 1- or 2-pointer in that city itself).

Interestingly, while I was viewing USGS on a separate internet screen, the screen hosting this site suddenly changed from Yuku to USGS.  So I had two screens showing USGS.  I don't recall having done anything to cause it.

And now the sensories have abated again, except for some mild poking in my left temple sinus.  Gonna try to sleep now.
