Lightworkx and two other sensitives I know predicted a water event for the L.A. area in the fall or winter of this year. They all thought it might be seismic. But how about meteorological? After over 5 days of moderate to heavy rain, we've just had a heavy downpour that began last night and lasted almost nonstop through this afternoon. Haven't seen a rain event in L.A. like this since the '80s. Local news has almost entirely devoted itself to weather coverage as rain falls heavy over most of the southland. Very few green blobs on the weather map, mostly orange and red. Bouts of long, low, rolling thunder. I wouldn't be surprised if parts of the L.A. Basin were declared a disaster area. I'm in the Burbank flatlands where the most we've seen is a few downed small tree branches; we're okay. Other areas, however, have seen profound damage. The burn areas from last year's brush fires, and many parts of the Inland Empire, have suffered damage in the millions. Surprise mudslides came down and slammed into many homes, flooding them to their upstairs levels, destroying them, and washing out several small bridges. Some streets are covered in four feet of mud, trapping vehicles, almost toppling them. In Orange County's exclusive Laguna Beach, storefronts have had mud intrusions that ruined goods. This precipitation is supposed to end by late tonight as the low moves inland. Indeed, as I type this, the rain has abated and I'm starting to see some sunset. But the damage is done -- and just days before Xmas. Please send your prayers and White Light to those affected by the mudslides.
