LW ... didn't you and someone else on here talk of black oil or goo rising to the surface? Not sure if these stories qualify, but ...

South Bay (Bay Area). Another San Andreas shaker. Residents reported feeling a brief but strong jolt in the middle of the night. 2.5 aftershock 3 hours later.
I note my inner ears have stopped squirming. In light of the above, may have to note this as a new symptom?

*I* sure hope it's nothing -- I'll be in the Bay Area over the holiday weekend for my b'day!
Yep, those migraine auras. Sometimes I get the full light show, other times just the partial blindness. I got three of those in one week, just prior to Northridge. So if you get any more this week, Mary, let us know.

This occurred on 3/27 but I just learned of it Monday. Just off the San Andreas in middle CA. Posting the news link as apparently it's already been removed from the USGS map.

Like LW said, stepping quakes. Including OR and WA here as they may be part of this pattern. With the exception of Redway, CA and OR which were yesterday, the rest were all today (Thursday). Leading up to that "rattlesnake hit" I guess.
MaryMaia, where are you? Check in, please!

Saturday midday, Speeding, getting stuff done.
Saturday evening, drained and slow, with adrenalin right in the center of my chest.
Sunday pre-dawn, a water main break in West Hollywood, flooding a below-street level parking garage in an apartment building.
About a half-hour before I typed this entry, these, both just off the San Andreas:
